10.3 David\u2019s journey:<\/strong>
A story of resilience and hope<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At just 23 years old, David found himself facing the challenging combination of serious break from reality symptoms and heavy cannabis use.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Living with his parents and younger brother, he spent most of his time withdrawn <\/strong>from the world, relying on cannabis and video games<\/strong> as his primary sources of comfort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although his family had no history of schizophrenia, signs of social anxiety<\/strong> and difficulty connecting<\/strong> with others emerged early, which later escalated into a full-blown psychotic episode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initial episode, triggered by cannabis use, led to a 40-day hospitalization. Diagnosed with a psychotic disorder from the schizophrenia spectrum and cannabis misuse, David\u2019s journey through treatment was filled with both encouraging progress and difficult setbacks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
